Syngonium ‘Strawberry’ Care
Origin: Native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America.
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to bring out the best pink coloration. It will tolerate lower light, but leaves may fade to green.
Water: Keep soil evenly moist but never soggy. Allow the top inch to dry between waterings. Reduce watering in winter.
Humidity: Thrives in high humidity environments. Regular misting or a humidifier will help maintain vibrant foliage and prevent crisping edges.
Soil: Aroid Mix
Temperature: Enjoys warmth between 65–80°F (18–27°C). Avoid cold drafts or sudden drops in temperature.
Fertilizer: Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength.
Notes: This vining syngonium can be trained to climb a moss pole or trail from a hanging pot. New leaves often emerge with a blush of pink that deepens as they mature, giving the plant its distinctive strawberry hue.
